The Trump entrepreneur initiative is a real estate training and coaching firm. It was founded in 2004 by Donald J. Trump, and has been accused of fraud, false advertising, and fraudulent practices. It has paid out over $25 million to settle lawsuits. The group has met in hotel meeting rooms, and is known for training individuals on how to become real estate investors.

TU Changed Name to Trump Entrepreneur Initiative

The Trump Entrepreneur Initiative (TU) is a private for-profit educational institute. Its founder Donald Trump started it in 2004 and ran a real estate training course under the same name until 2010. The institute was shut down by the federal government in 2010, after being accused of fraudulent practices, false advertising, and other violations of the Federal Trade Commission Act.

After a lawsuit, the university changed its name to the Trump Entrepreneur Initiative. The new name reflects its business model: it sells products and services, including memberships, classes, workshops, and seminars. Its founders claim the program helps people start and grow their own business, but it is unclear if it grants academic degrees. The BBB does not recommend that you attend the courses or workshops offered by the Trump Entrepreneur Initiative.

TU Was a Real Estate Training Company

Trump University, a real estate training company founded by Trump and his wife Melania, hasn’t offered classes in years. However, it remains a source of controversy. It is the subject of at least two major lawsuits, including a $40 million fraud action by New York attorney general Eric Schneiderman and a class-action lawsuit brought by the state of California. Both lawsuits claim that Trump University bilked students out of their money and mislead them into attending expensive seminars.

The company was first known as Trump University, but later changed its name to Trump Entrepreneur Initiative. It was a business that sold real estate training courses and products, as well as seminars and workshops. However, the company did not offer accredited degrees. It used the name Trump University to attract customers, but this name was also misleading.

TU paid $25 Million to Settle Lawsuits Against Trump Entrepreneur Initiative

The Trump Organization has agreed to pay $25 million to settle lawsuits filed by former students of Trump University. The former president had promised to teach students the “secrets of real estate” in a for-profit seminar series. The scandal prompted the school to change its name in 2010 to Trump Entrepreneur Initiative. The lawsuits accused the company of misleading students and ripping them off.

In the lawsuits, plaintiffs alleged that the nationwide seminars were infomercials and failed to deliver on promises. They also claimed that Trump misled students by calling the organization a university. Furthermore, they claimed that Trump’s business did not employ the same instructors who taught at the TU campus. The lawsuits sought treble damages and full restitution.
