Several years ago, Murray and Ferdous founded a group known as billionaire cabal to invest in startups. It began as a side project, but soon spread among Silicon Valley founders. The group was so successful that it enrolled in the Y Combinator startup accelerator program. Today, it has a large portfolio of over 1,000 companies.
The billionaire cabal controls information. Rupert Murdoch decides what goes on Fox News’ prime time, while AT&T and Verizon have the power to censor content. In addition, the Federalist Society is a powerful think tank with deep penetration in politics and the economy. Senator Josh Hawley, for example, is a product of the cabal. The Republican Congress, Trump, and right-wing media all advance cabal agenda.
In addition to controlling state governments, the billionaire cabal has a great deal of influence over every aspect of American life. The billionaires’ foundations and Chambers of Commerce largely determine the policies of the United States, including education, communications, agriculture, and monetary policy. Patriotic Millionaires has been working to limit the political influence of these billionaires, and their goals are clear.
Some of these leaders are unelected. The tea party, meanwhile, has failed to develop a consistent stance on the billionaire cabal. However, this does not mean that the cabal does not exist. Its members are only interested in their own interests and do not care about the interests of the people around them.
