The Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Leadership Pocatello-Chubbuck program to help individuals become community leaders. The chamber is a vital part of the community, fostering economic development and creating opportunities. Several chamber events and programs bring people together to build their community. For example, business after hours showcase local businesses and monthly meetings provide community leaders with information. Amanda is currently the Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce. After graduation, she plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Workplace Training and Leadership from Idaho State University. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, playing golf, and camping. She and her husband, Jesse, and son, Nico, enjoy riding ATVs and RZRs.
Leadership Pocatello-Chubbuck
Leadership Pocatello-Chubbuck is a non-profit civic organization sponsored by the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce. The program is divided into two parts, a training year and a diplomat year. The Board of Directors oversees the curriculum and public relations of the program. It also educates high school students about leadership. The program is open to anyone interested in promoting community goodwill and building a stronger local business community.
Kristine McCarty is Director of Graduate Studies at Idaho State University, where she oversees the Master of Business Administration, Master of Accountancy, and Master of Healthcare Administration programs. She also teaches a basic business course. She’s passionate about supporting women in their pursuit of an education in business. Her education includes a Master of Business Administration with a marketing emphasis and an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. She also graduated from the Leadership Pocatello-Chubbuck program and is currently a co-founder of the Elevate Leadership Summit.

Kathryn Dye is the Meals on Wheels Director for SEICAA. SEICAA provides nutritious meals and emotional support to homebound seniors. She is a graduate of the 2020 Leadership Pocatello program. She is a member of the Business Women of Pocatello and serves on several Leadership Boards of Directors. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, hiking, and concerts. She also enjoys spending time with her family.
