Crypto Cloaks is a start-up company that was born out of a love of Bitcoin and 3D printing. It designs and builds products to help Bitcoiners keep their machines cool and protected. While it has a wide selection of products, the company is always open to collaborations and custom projects. Their newest line is the Triton Case, a custom-built case for RasPi4-based Bitcoin nodes. The case comes with transparent side walls, Whirpool front panels, mounts for multiple Pis, and LED fans.
The Crypto Cloaks Coin was launched on the 3rd of June 2014 and quickly achieved a market cap of over 5 million USD. However, once the lack of promised features became apparent, the price quickly dropped. This was largely due to a fraudulent campaign. After the price reached a high point, the CloakCoin network suffered a crash. Fortunately, the developers were able to turn the project around with the help of its community.
The project is also a good fit for Bitcoin, which lacks pseudo-anonymity. While transactions are publicly logged, analysis of the bitcoin network reveals the parties involved. CloakCoin solves this problem by using the Enigma trustless consensus protocol. Its Cloakshield infrastructure adds several layers of encryption to the network’s communications. Unlike other Bitcoin projects, the crypto cloaks Coin system is devoid of side chains and custom data. It uses ENIGMA off-chain mixing instead.
