Chinese netizens have seized on a new viral wealth meme. The “give me money meme” challenge has gained over 2.3 billion views on Weibo and over a million comments. The challenge, which originated in Russia, has seen posters leave behind credit cards, cash, jewelry, designer bags, and other luxury items.
